Dr. Carl C. Awh is ranked as one of the "Best Doctors in America" by Best Doctors, Inc.,  which has been identifying the "best of the best" in medicine for 20 years.  Best Doctors, Inc. uses the largest, continuous peer-to-peer surveys of the medical profession to build its professional roster of the best minds in medicine.

The biennial survey polls more than 46,000 doctors from 400 subspecialities who themselves represent the top physicians with affiliations with the top medical institutions in the country. Only about 5 percent of doctors currently practicing in the US are selected annually for the list.

Not only does the organization monitor current licensure, board certification and malpractice incidents, it also evaluates specific expertise including special research and published work in making its decision to name a physician as one of its Best Doctors
