Tennessee Retina Represents at AAO 2025 and ACE 2025 in Orlando
This past weekend, Tennessee Retina was proud to be represented at two premier ophthalmology events — the American Academy of Ophthalmology Annual Meeting (AAO 2025) and ACE 2025, hosted by IJCAHPO.
AAO 2025
AAO 2025 brought together thousands of eye care professionals from around the world to share research, exchange ideas, and explore innovations shaping the future of ophthalmology. The meeting highlighted emerging therapies, advancing technologies, and discussions that continue to drive progress in patient care.
Tennessee Retina was honored to have several of our physicians contribute their expertise during this year’s program:
David A. Reichstein, M.D.
- Section III: Intraocular Tumors — With Great Oncology Comes Great Responsibility
- “Intraocular Tumor Billing and Coding Questions”
Carl C. Awh, M.D., FASRS
- Section VIII: The 2025 Debates
- “Biosimilars in Retina: A Cost-Effective Solution”
Akshay S. Thomas, M.D., M.S., FASRS
- The Great Debate: Uveitis
- Rebuttal presentation
Their participation reflected Tennessee Retina’s ongoing commitment to advancing the understanding and treatment of retinal diseases through education, collaboration, and innovation.
ACE 2025
In addition to AAO, members of our clinical team played leading roles at ACE 2025, the premier continuing education event for Allied Ophthalmic Personnel (AOP). ACE offers live and virtual CE courses, exam prep, and hands-on learning labs designed to enhance the skills and knowledge of ophthalmic professionals.
We’re proud of our team members who shared their expertise with peers in the field:
