Mitchell T. Allphin, M.D.

Tennessee Retina (2025-2027)

Mitchell Allphin, M.D. joins us as our first vitreoretinal surgery fellow. As a fellow, Dr. Allphin will be treating patients under the guidance of our experienced physicians as part of a 2-year training program required for all retina specialists. Dr. Allphin shares our mission to deliver exceptional clinical and surgical care to every patient.

Ogul E. Uner, M.D.

Tennessee Retina (2026-2028)

Ogul E. Uner, M.D., is Tennessee Retina’s incoming Vitreoretinal Surgery Fellow. He is currently completing fellowship training in Uveitis and Clinical Ocular Immunology and has a strong clinical interest in uveitic masquerade syndromes and innovation in medical retinal diseases. Dr. Uner has authored more than 30 peer-reviewed publications and is actively engaged in research focused on big data, artificial intelligence, and the clinical epidemiology of retinal disease.
