April Image Of The Month

Rebekah Greenberg captured the TNR Image of the Month for April of a Large Pre Macular Hemorrhage. This kind of hemorrhage is related to a large pool of blood that is located in between the vitreous and the retina. These types of hemorrhages are found near/in your macula. The macula is your central vision, so when blood forms here, you will experience visual disturbances. A couple of causes for a macular hemorrhage could include Proliferative Diabetic Retinopathy and Retinal Vein Occlusions. Click here to learn more about retinal conditions we treat.
