During last week's American Society of Retina Specialists (ASRS) Annual Meeting in Montréal, Carl C. Awh, MD, FASRS, president of Tennessee Retina, was formally presented with the 2026 ASRS Founders Award.
The Founders Award is among the highest honors bestowed by ASRS and recognizes individuals whose vision, leadership, and lasting contributions have advanced vitreoretinal surgery, research, surgical innovation, and patient care.
